THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. That Section 4.040, Exclusive Farm Use Zone,
(EFU-20), Subsection (2), Uses Permitted Outright, is amended to
read as follows:
(2) Uses Permitted Outright.
(A) Farm use as defined in ORS 215.203(2).
(B) Propagation or harvesting of a forest product.
(C) Utility facilities necessary for public service,
except landfills or commercial facilities
for the purpose of generating power for
public use by sale.
(D) Dwellings and other buildings customarily
provided in conjunction with farm use as
defined in ORS 215.203(2)(a), and mobile
homes subject to Section 5.110.
(E) Public or private schools.
(F) Churches.
(G) Livestock feed lot or sales yard.
(H) Animal hospital, subject to an acceptable site
plan in accordance with Article 7.
Section 2. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of pu lic peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this Ordinance takes effect on its passage.
