DESCHUTES COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
DESCHUTES SERVICES CENTER
1300 NW WALL STREET, BEND, OREGON, 97701
APRIL 25, 2013 — 5:30 P.M.
Meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chair Bill Rainey. Members present were Vice
Chair Chris Brown, Hugh Palcic and Matt Lisignoli. Absent: Todd Turner, James Powell, Ed
Criss. Staff present were Nick Lelack, Planning Director, and Sher Buckner, Administrative
Secretary.
Minutes of March 28, 2013 were approved.
II. PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
III. DELIBERATIONS: Planning Division Work Plan 2013-2014 — Nick Lelack, CDD Director.
Nick discussed the work plan process and the contract for building services in Sisters. He also
submitted a summary of livestock density limitations in rural residential types of zones.
Motion: Vice Chair Brown motioned to forward the Work Plan to the Board with the Planning
Commission's recommendation. Seconded by Commissioner Palcic. Nick mentioned that he
had spoken with Commissioner Powell, who is absent this evening, and Commissioner Powell
was in favor of forwarding the Work Plan to the Board. Motion passed.
IV. PLANNING COMMISSION AND STAFF COMMENTS
Nick mentioned an application we recently received for a zone change in compliance with the
Terrebonne Community Plan. There are no items on the agenda for May 9, so there may not be
a meeting. The DEQ will be here for a presentation on May 23.
V. ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
