ORDINANCE NO. 81-015
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. That Section 5.250, LANDS ADJOINING SM OR
SMR ZONES, is amended to read as follows:
SECTION 5-:250. -LANDS ADJOINING SM OR SMR ZONES.
Lots or parcels which abut an SM or SMR zone may
be required to establish setbacks in excess of
those required in the zone in which the lot or
parcel is located. The required setback shall be
determined by the Planning Director after meeting
with the applicant and the owner of the adjoining
SM or SMR zoned land,to ensure sight and sound
screening between present and future uses on the
properties. In no event shall the setback exceed
100 yards.
