THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. The Deschutes County Year 2000 Comprehensive Plan,
Open Spaces, Areas of Special Concern, and
Environmental Quality Section, paragraph 1.B of
POLICIES, is amended to read as follows:
B. Development restrictions shall be established for
the rimrocks along the Deschutes and Crooked Rivers
in order to minimize the visual impact structures
built on the rimrock will have on these areas when
viewed from the river.
Section 2. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of public peace, health and safety, an
emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance
takes effect on its passage.
