Sunriver, Oregon Audio recording of this meeting is archived for review and/or transcription. The purpose of this document is to outline topics of discussion and actions by the Committee. Members Present: Cheryl Howard, Wendy Holzman, Mark Smith, Michelle DeSilva, Mary Barron, Rick Root, David Olsen, Scott Ferguson, Christopher Cassard Agency: Kim Curly, Commute Options; Matt Martin, Deschutes County; Joe Patnode, Sunriver Police Department; Ken Mulenex, City of La Pine; Shawn Cannon, Sunriver Owners Assoc.; Jason M Schneider, Sunriver Owners Assoc. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 12:07 p.m. Introductions Approval of Prior Minutes September 10, 2015, meeting minutes were unanimously approved as drafted. La Pine Current and Future direction, La Pine Mayor, Ken Mulenex Mayor Ken Mulenex provided presentation on current and planned transportation and economic development projects in La Pine. Noted projects include improvements along Highway 97 corridor, development of community vision standards, new bicycle plan, creation of an arts commission, and formation of an urban renewal district, among many others. He highlighted partnerships with ODOT, Deschutes County, and Commute Options. Bike Rental and usage pattern in Sunriver, Shawn Cannon Shawn discussed bicycle usage and promotional/educational programs in Sunriver. She distributed the Sunriver pathway map. There are 34 miles of paved pathways and 1,100 rentals bikes and accessories available at local shops. She indicated the pathways are the #1 amenity for owners and visitors. 2 Sunriver Pathway system, past, current and future, Mark Smith Mark provided an overview of the historic and future use of the paved pathways. Also noted were the various ownership interests (individual, corporate, and community) within Sunriver. Mark summarized recent and future pathway/transportation construction projects. Sunriver Navigator Mobil App Map, Jason Schneider Jason provided an overview of the new Sunriver Navigator App. Features include maps, nearby amenities, services, event calendar, activities, and weather. The app was developed in-house and is very adaptable to incorporate new features. Sunriver Bike Patrol, Sunriver PD Sgt. Joe Patnode provided an overview of bike patrol program with a PowerPoint presentation. Details included history, training, duties, statistics, and events. BPAC Business Tri County Summit: October 14th in Prineville. Updates Commute Options: Drive less Challenge is October 5-18. Adjournment at 2:00pm
